(I wrote this poem when I was in high school, but it still applies today. Happy Mothers Day, Mom! I love you! --- Randy)
God, You've given me many things,
great blessings from above;
But, Lord, I thank You most of all
for my home and those I love.
Parents who have nothing less
than my welfare in mind,
Leading me, as I am led,
by the way that their light shines.
A place where faith in Jesus
is lived and loved and taught
And through the joys and storms of life
the Master's will is sought.
God, I know through all my life
I've had my highs and lows;
I've tried to be a faithful son,
but sometimes I've failed them so.
But, God, though I have failed my folks
in big and little ways,
Help them know I love them more
than my own words can say.
Tell them that no time or space
will ever change our love,
And if someday we part on earth
we'll meet again above.
God, You've given me many things,
great blessings from above;
But, Lord, I thank You most of all
for my home and those I love.
God, You've given me many things,
great blessings from above;
But, Lord, I thank You most of all
for my home and those I love.
Parents who have nothing less

Leading me, as I am led,
by the way that their light shines.

This is a great poem Dad. I am thankful most of all for home and those I love as well. :)
